We were lucky to recover a batch of roof rafters big enough to orchestrate a collection around them. The purpose of the design is to not touch the layers of skin (paint, plaster, grime etc) and wrinkles that these structural beams have garnered since the construction of the British Embassy in Calle Sagasta nr.1 began in 1750. By doing so we honor the lives of all people and characters that have dwelled this magnificent building over its almost 300 years of existence.
It´s not an easy task to work with irregular and imperfect timber so we have kept all shapes and joinery pretty straightforward. We have coated the rougher faces in a way that they are safe and enjoyable to touch without losing one bit of authenticity. For this updated edition we have added a table lamp, a bench and a console to the Series.

For each of the models you will find a gallery plenty of pictures of the piece together with dimensional and material options. If you have special requirements just let us know.
We manufacture it ourselves so we can probably make it happen.
