In this second piece of what we called the Pópulo Collection (the name of the quarter in Cadiz were we got them from), the massive raw beam is once again the main protagonist. This mother beam (parts of the primary structure and therefore very thick) has an original inscription on it. In this case we read the words "Arcos Luque" written in pencil in 2 lines. It admits multiple interpretations that we have not been able to decipher. What we have not been able to avoid is trying to preserve them under a resin film. In addition, in the center it has a beautiful dovetail worked by hand, which would serve as an assembly with a pillar of the structure and that we wanted to leave as is. It was clear that the beam was going to be the central frame of the table, when drawing the legs that would hold it to the ground we saw the familiar shape of a bull and the rest of the design came by itself. There was some difficulty in making it level and removable, since our main reference is a log that has supported the roof of a building for no less than 150 years.
